WHAT WE BELIEVE

contact

We believe you were created to have a personal relationship with God.

Because of sin, we all have been separated from God. But God would not let it end that way.  He loved us so much that He sent his beloved Son, Jesus, to pay for the sin debt that we owe.  Jesus died and was buried, but He rose again on the third day just as He had promised He would do. God promised that anyone who would put their trust in him would receive eternal life.

SInce that day, his disciples, called Christians, have been following His Teachings that have been perfectly preserved in the Bible.  Our church exists for the purpose of introducing others to this wonderful new life found only in knowing God.

We are committed to connecting with God, His Word, and ministering to those in need.  We do so each week in the following ways, and we invite you to join us on the journey.

  • Love God with all your heart, mind, and body (Weekend Services)
  • Learn more about God and what He desires for you (Small Group)
  • Live your faith in the community so others can see God in you (Outreach)

Our core doctrines

  • We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the verbally inspired Word of God, and are without error in the original writings, and are the supreme and final authority for all faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:15-19; 2 Peter 1:21).
  • We believe in one God, creator and sustainer of the universe, Who is eternally existent in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:1; Matt. 28:19; Jn. 10:30).
  • We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His virgin birth, sinless life, His substitutionary death on the cross to pay for the penalty of sin, His bodily resurrection and exaltation at the right hand of God the Father, and His personal, imminent return to earth some day (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11).
  • We believe that all who by faith receive Jesus Christ are born-again of the Holy Spirit, therefore becoming children of God and eternally saved; the Holy Spirit dwells with every believer to enlighten, guide, and empower them in all of life, testimony and service (Romans 5:8-9; Ephesians 2:8-10).
